Safety protection in the production of metal shredding

Metal shredders are highly efficient equipment that are popular in the metal recycling and processing industry. However, there are significant safety risks associated with shredding steel waste. How can we eliminate the occurrence of safety problems?

The safety protection of metal shredders primarily focuses on preventing metal fragments from flying out during the crushing process. We cannot simply rely on baffles.

1. Firstly, we should place the shredder a safe distance away from people.
2. Then surround the production line of the metal shredding with a fence. And adjust the height of the fence according to the actual working situation. Furthermore, thicken the fence where flying debris is likely to be a greater concern.
3. Add protective iron sheets to the shelters set up for the operators in the construction environment.
4. Set up an approximately 10cm iron plate fence opposite the material transportation holes. The height of the fence should be able to prevent fragments from flying over.
